NASA Global Satellite Precipitation (GPM IMERG)
Visualize global precipitation rates and atmospheric moisture patterns using near-real-time satellite observation layers provided by NASA EOSDIS GIBS.
GPM IMERG DataPowered by NASA’s Integrated Multi-satellitE Retrievals for GPM (IMERG), delivering global precipitation rates (mm/hr) at a 0.1° × 0.1° (~10 km) spatial resolution every 30 minutes.
Global Satellite ConstellationCombines Dual-frequency Precipitation Radar (DPR) and passive microwave sensors across the GPM satellite network to monitor rainfall and snowfall over both land and oceans.
